Chapter No.17: Moving in with Lucas

Emily Foster:

"Here, take this medicine and go to sleep. You need rest." Lucas said after helping me sit on the bed and placed the pills on my hand with a glass of water "The doctor asked you to rest as much as you can and take the medicines on time to heal faster."

"Thank you." I thanked him and gulped the medicine "Where is Lily?"

"She is in the backyard having the tea party with Mr. Cuddles, Mr. Blueberry, Mrs. Pots, and Miss. Ginny," he replied making me laugh because all of the names he took belonged to Lily's stuffed animals and her dolls "Don't worry the guards are looking after her. She is safe over here. No one can enter without my permission." Lucas tells me with a smile and kisses my knuckles "Call my name if you need anything. I will be in the next room working."

"Ok," I answered and laid down, he put on the comforter on me, and left me alone. I closed my eyes and thought if this all could be real. If Lucas, Lily, and I can be family, I know this is impossible because ever
