04 How Should I Address Him?

Bruno took the elevator back to the presidential suite on the top floor. As soon as he opened the door, he heard the sound of the television, and Lizzie was lying on the sofa, already asleep.

He took off his suit jacket and casually threw it on the single sofa next to him, entered the bathroom, changed his clothes, turned on the shower head, and the sound of running water came from the bathroom.

Upon hearing the noise, Lizzie opened her eyes, saw the black suit jacket on the sofa, and wondered if he had returned? She quickly got up from the sofa, walked into the bedroom, saw the bathroom door closed, and the sound of water coming from it. She hung the suit jacket in her hand on the hanger.

Lizzie sat on the sofa, waiting for Bruno to come out. She still had something to say to him.

Bruno came out of the bathroom in a white robe, glanced lightly at Lizzie sitting on the sofa, and turned to leave the bedroom. "Um, that..." Lizzie hesitated for a moment, not knowing what to call him.

"Hey!" Lizzie saw that he ignored her and continued to walk to the living room, so she called him.

Only then did Bruno stop, turn around, and look at Lizzie, "Are you calling me?"

"Of course! Do you think I'm a fool, talking to myself?" Lizzie intended to have a nice conversation with him, but as soon as they started talking, neither of them had a good tone.

Bruno looked at Lizzie standing in front of him, reached out and pulled her into his arms, "Is Miss Lizzie really this rude?" His slender fingers slid over her cheek.

Manners? She was much more mannered than this man who always touched her. Lizzie thought to herself.

"I don't know what to call you?" Lizzie muttered in a low voice.

"Call me Yan or husband." Bruno smiled and tightened the hand on her waist, pressing her against himself, "And, in the future, you should speak louder. If you speak so softly, I might not hear or understand you, and I won't be able to answer you."

All Lizzie could do was keep a certain distance between them by placing her hand on his chest.

Yan? Husband? She couldn't call him that. The thought of it made her skin crawl.

"Can you let go of me first?" Lizzie was tightly held by him, feeling that her breath was chaotic. What's more, her struggle was in vain.

Bruno had no intention of letting go of her, "Just say what you want to say."

Lizzie pursed her lips. If he wasn't going to let go, then he wouldn't. After all, she could still negotiate with him.

"When are we going back? Aren't you very busy?" Lizzie asked softly.

"Do you want to go back?" Bruno looked at her, and her expression seemed to be eager to return. Why would he fulfill her wish?

Lizzie nodded.

"But, I don't want to go back yet, what should I do?" Bruno smirked, touched her face, and asked, "Are you disappointed?"

If Lizzie wasn't tightly held by him and couldn't move, she really wanted to slap him hard. He was doing this on purpose. If he was in a bad mood and wanted to stay here for a year or two, she would be bored to death and had to go to school.

Bruno laughed, "You look cute when you're angry." He squeezed her pink cheeks, then let go of her.

As soon as Lizzie broke free from his grasp, she immediately stood up and kept the furthest distance from him, "From now on, we should keep this distance. Don't come near me, and don't touch me." She said loudly, but only God knew how much courage she mustered to yell at him like that.

Bruno just smiled and didn't say anything. His little wife was too naive!

He turned and went into the living room, casually picked up a financial magazine and began reading. Lizzie did not dare to provoke him and hid in the bedroom alone.

After a long time, she got up and walked to the bedroom door, looked at Bruno, but still did not speak, and returned to the bedroom. The phone on the coffee table flashed, and Bruno picked it up, pressing the answer button, "Hello."

"Sir, you haven't had dinner yet, would you like me to prepare it?" the steward's voice sounded.

"Okay, we'll be right down." Bruno hung up the call, a slight smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. He set the phone down, stood up and walked into the bedroom, where he saw Lizzie sitting on the couch, her hands propping up her chin as she gazed at the moonlit night outside the window.

Bathed in the dim moonlight, Lizzie saw a long shadow enter her line of vision. She looked up at Bruno standing behind her, "Um, it's cold..."

"We're going downstairs to eat." Bruno dropped a sentence and picked up a set of clothes to go into the bathroom.

By the time Lizzie came to her senses, she saw Bruno already dressed in a white casual outfit, "What? Aren't you hungry?"

"Oh." Lizzie got up to follow him.

As soon as the door was opened, Bruno had already swept Lizzie into his arms. The steward standing at the doorway bowed respectfully as soon as they emerged, "Sir, Madam, this way please."

Lizzie writhed uncomfortably, but seeing the steward's unwavering gaze, she ceased to struggle.

In the dining room on the first floor, a long line of waiters stood respectfully at the door. As soon as they saw Bruno and Lizzie, they bowed ninety degrees in unison, "Sir, Madam."

Although Lizzie felt awkward, she did not resist and accepted quietly. This was what she, as the young mistress of the Leng family, had to face. She was no longer the unnoticed miss of the Lizzie family. With a slight sigh in her heart, she looked up at Bruno, who still wore a cold expression.

The luxurious golden dining room seemed to have been booked out, with not a single customer dining. A variety of hotel specialty dishes filled the long dining table.

Bruno pulled out a chair in a gentlemanly manner for Lizzie to sit, before taking his own seat opposite her.

A group of waiters and the steward stood by.

Lizzie felt uncomfortable, holding chopsticks in her hand but not picking up any food.

Bruno squinted slightly, looking at the dazed Lizzie sitting opposite him. He picked up a dish and placed it in front of Lizzie, "Eat up! What are you daydreaming about?"

"Oh." Lizzie finally nodded, "But can they leave? It's not like eating with so many people staring."

Bruno chuckled, "If they want to watch, let them watch. We just eat." With that, he continued to pick up food for her.

Lizzie looked at Bruno. He had just acted as if he didn't want to see her in the room, but now, why was he being so nice to her? Such a strange man. She glanced at the waiters, and began to eat the food in her bowl.

Bruno, however, ate his dinner gracefully.

It wasn't until the meal was over that the waiters came up one by one, removing the dishes from the table and bringing a cup of coffee and a glass of juice for Bruno and Lizzie respectively.

And then all the waiters retreated, leaving only Bruno and Lizzie, and the steward standing aside in the entire dining room.

Lizzie looked at Bruno sitting opposite her, his face showing no emotion as he sipped his coffee in small mouthfuls. She didn't say anything, just took a sip of her juice. "Cold..."
