THE GAME#41

I walked into the hallway with my hands in the pockets of my black leather jacket. It was snowing heavily outside, and the weather was getting cold. I realized this from the visibility of my breath. The first flake of snow fell immediately after I left Hope's home.

Hope didn't like what was happening, but she couldn't do anything about it. I told her we couldn't be together because of the vampire hunter. Thank God she had bought it because I had no other excuse to give. I sighed and walked into history class.

I took a sit at my usual spot, which was behind Hope. Her seat was empty, meaning she wasn't in class yet. I leaned back in my seat and relaxed. The whole class was shivering. It was definitely that cold, and it was only a matter of time before people found out I wasn't shivering like they were.
