Chapter 3

After dinner, which was a really awkward that it almost creeped the understanding maids out, I hurriedly went back to our room to fix my things in the right place. It took me two hours to organize my clothes in my closet and the other things I brought in their right places. Tomorrow morning's an off from work. Because of the wedding occasion, I have been spared with days as my day offs so I could handle my marriage issues with my family and husband and the rest.

I lied down my bed after drying up my wet hair. And he recently entered the room, looking surprised that I was already in the bed.

I realized that I looked like some excited wife who wanted to sleep with his husband! Right! It's still past 9am and I was already prepared to sleep.

So that's why he's giving me a look that was filled with mischief.

"It's not what you think it was," I coldly said and got up from the bed so he wouldn't misunderstand. "I just needed an early rest, the whole day was so long and tiring."

He finally settled on the bed and his brows creased when there were pillows in the middle of the bed. He looked at me. "What are these pillows for?"

I chuckled and leaned on the door. "Boundary."

"Boundary?"

"Yes." I nodded at him. "Don't you get it? Our boundary, you should not overpass the pillows," I instructed and expected his knitting eyebrows. He didn't know what to react because right, my idea was really childish.

But Wren's smart enough to know my reason.

"Do what you want. Where are you going? Aren't you going to sleep?" Wren questioned. So he's now aware of my early plan to take a rest. Or he's itentionally putting that topic back.

"I'm going downstairs, watch TV."

He only stood up and approached me so I had no choice but to wait for him to come closer. But that was my wrong decision, I should've left that moment he moved from the bed. He immediately pulled me inside the room and locked the door.

What's he doing?!

"What do you want now?" I calmly asked, Wren only rested his back on the door so he could block my way outside. This guy.

He crossed his arms. "I want a honeymoon."

What?

"You want what? Then go by yourself. You don't need to tell me that," I replied with my hands on my waist. I expected that one among us would sooner mention about this honeymoon thing that newly-wed people usually do. Good thing I had a plan to not bring this topic up. And then here he goes, reminding the honeymoon.

"Are you really serious?" I asked him.

Gosh, he was serious! But no matter how persistent Wren was for the honeymoon, it's still useless and nonsensical because honeymoon was for lovers, real lovers. Not a married couple who was dealt for the business. Not a couple where the woman was the only one who's in love.

"I am serious, but I'm not going to force you if you won't come," he replied, acting so considerate. But I wouldn't go with him for that romantic trip thingy, would there be a use for him to go by himself? Without his wife? He's got to be kidding me.

I stared at him for a while who's busy staring back at me. This guy's always as gutsy as ever. When would he look away and act like a shy type of guy?

I sighed and went back to the bed but I fixed the pillows between us first so our bed would be properly divided. "Good night, Wren."

I closed my eyes and pretended that we didn't talk about honeymoon at all.

Gosh, he's planning for it, for real! And it's dragging me to choose from agreeing or not. What's happening to me?

I felt that the bed bounced although I didn't see how he lied down. I was facing the other side anyway. "So, you are going with me? Tomorrow?"

"No, I'm not going. I'm busy. And it's not necessary to have the honeymoon."

He didn't bother me already.

----

"Ma'am Kiana! Wake up!"

"Ma'am Kiana!"

I slowly opened my eyes and blinked for so many times after getting disturbed by a familiar voice. Our maid's voice.

Upon being woken up, I got up from the bed and yawned. My eyes were watery when I saw that it was our maid who has been waking me up. A breakfast was served on the bedside table.

"Good morning, what's wrong?" I asked her because Wren's not in the bed anymore. It's not that I would expect that he's still fast asleep when I wake up.

"You need to get up and change, Ma'am Kiana," the maid reminded as she pulled me up to the bathroom. I halted her and creased my brows. As far as I could remember, today was still a free day I have!

"But I don't have work today."

She froze and she frustratedly looked at me.

Wait a minute.

She gasped. "Can't you remember, Ma'am? Sir Wren told me to wake you up, you did forget that today's your trip to your honeymoon."

Okay, wait. What?

When did I agree with the honeymoon?

I didn't!

Out of getting informed about the sudden news, I left the bedroom and searched for him all over the house. I sucessfully found him by the shed in the frontyard, chillingly sipping on his drink as he scrolled on his phone.

I crossed my arms in front of the shed and he noticed my presence. He gave me a blank stare. "Do you prefer going out with your pajama?" He shrugged. "Okay, understood. It's still considered."

I huffed. "What are you talking about? What's with the honeymoon stuff?"

"We're going, Kiana."

I marched toward him with my knitting brows. "Don't make me laugh. I told you last night that I won't be going. I'm not going to be controlled by you!"

I was expecting to have a peaceful morning for having the first day of being married but Wren practically ruined it.

"I am not, being a manipulative husband to you," he stated but too late. That's how I'd reflect him. "I just wanted to bring you somewhere---whether you like it or not---so we can have some fun."

I spun and prepared to leave him. "Then thank you for your concern? But if I don't like going anywhere today, I kindly refuse for your place suggestions to go."

He stood up and closed the gate to exit the shed, to lock me inside. I was shocked, my lips even parted and had nothing to say to him. He expected that, Wren's the mischievious-looking guy who could read the strategy to piss someone off. I understood why Karin looked so pissed whenever she sees him.

"As for your gratitude because of my concern to you, why not doing something for me as an exchange?" he asked smirking.

"Seriously? Just for the simpliest concern you showed, I should do something back?"

Come on, stop doing tactics to control me.

"It's up to you. Once I am a husband, I will treat a wife perfectly, unconditionally."

"I didn't ask, but that's a good news," I said and nodded at him. If he'd truly treat me perfectly, then it would not surprised me anymore!

"But you see, I haven't started in becoming a husband yet." Wren ducked down to lower his face so he could look at me directly. Oh, goodness! Every time he's close to me, the view when he kissed me yesterday would never stop bugging me anymore.

I really was stubborn when it comes to this guy.

And I was so good to pretend as well.

I closed my eyes and chew my inner lip to calm my chest down. Could he just lean away?!

"So I might still expect for my wife to offer me an exchange as her gratitude because I am concern of her. Like going out with me for a honeymoon!"

I sighed heavily and stepped away to avoid him. "F-Fine! I'll go, but not for a honeymoon! For the sake of going out with you only!"
