Chapter 7

I was busy searching my keycar in my bag when Wren suddenly popped up into my sight. He's leaning on his parked car and his calm posture on it seemed like someone who's waiting for someone. I gulped and my feet almost took their steps backward but I controlled myself.

Our eyes met. He smirked at me.

This was unfair, he just smirked like he's teasing me while this was me, blushing and dying in my face's redness.

"What's up. How's your day?" he asked.

"It's not how great as it is," I replied and stood up in front of him. "Why are you here? If you're planning to drive me home, I have my own car."

"Where's your... car? I don't see it anywhere," Wren asked, looking at the whole parking lot.

I roamed my eyes as well and tried cupping my keycar in my bag but I couldn't find it anywhere.

And I realized, I didn't drive myself at work this morning.
