Chapter 6

We drove back home immediately and Wren's plan to stay by the resort for another day was cancelled. It was cancelled due to some important reasons and the other reasons were about something we both knew but none of us had mentioned.

The car was so quiet but the air was extremely densed. No one's trying to start a conversation. As if our lips were shut by the small pieces of memories we could recall, and it's all about the night we had yesterday.

My hands were tingling over my lap, Wren could notice the discomfort since he's seated beside me. His eyes glimpsed on my side fleetingly.

He sighed. "Is there something wrong?"

He finally ruined the silence. I hope the car was relieved when he finally made a sound.

"I am fine, why did you ask?" Okay, I am not actually okay.

Because I've been overthinking about the both of us, drunk in bed and we slept together.

Wren shrugged. "I just feel like you aren't okay. Do you feel uncomfortable whenever we're in the same car?"

"No, that's not
