Chapter 24

When Clarice woke up, she found herself lying in that familiar bed, and the man beside her had already disappeared. Thinking about the scene from the previous night, she still felt terrified, so she quickly changed clothes and went downstairs.

When she rushed to the kitchen, she saw a chaotic mess inside that looked like a battlefield. Last night, he was so wild, almost wanting to devour her alive. If it weren't for the fact that she finally lost consciousness due to exhaustion, he wouldn't have let her go that night.

Squatting down, she wanted to pick up the debris on the floor, but a wave of pain came from her abdomen. Covering her stomach with her hands, she slowly stood up and walked to the dining room; she wanted to sit on the sofa and alleviate the pain.

However, she soon discovered that the pain didn't subside. Instead, it became increasingly severe. What was happening? She wiped the sweat from her forehead and suddenly thought of the chaotic battle with Nicholas last night.
