"Alice, don't start with me here. Come, I'll take you to your room," Lucas insisted, reaching out to grab her arm. However, Alice pushed his hand away.

"No, I'll go myself. You don't need to worry," she bluntly stated, pressing the elevator button. Lucas started to feel a headache from her stubbornness.

Swiftly, he approached her and lifted her up in a bridal style. Alice was blank, her eyes widened in shock.

"What are you doing? Put me down!" She shouted. Ignoring her protests, Lucas waited for the elevator doors to open.

"I'm talking to you, leave me!" Alice struggled, but he held her tightly. As the elevator doors opened, he walked in with her in his arms, pressing the button for his room.

"Where are you taking me?" Alice noticed the button he pressed wasn't on her floor. Lucas remained silent, completely ignoring her questions and struggles. Frustration and anger overwhelmed Alice as she stared at him with heavy breaths, but slowly her anger began to calm.
