Inside Maria’s apartment… Maria gladly welcomed Cherry into her big apartment and stepped aside so she can take in the size and beauty. A week after the incident… Rex woke up feeling lonely and cold, his mood was sourer than rotten eggs left in the refrigerator for weeks and nothing on the television, not even the daily newspaper can cheer him up. It’s another faithful day and Maria is clearing the kitchen while Cherry busied herself with some house chores approved by Maria for her to do. Early, the next morning…Rex stayed behind to look after Cherry while Maria went to visit her parent (not by choice) to learn some cooking ideas from her mother and give Cherry and Rex some privacy.
