Chapter 17 – Support

Renzo wiped her tears and pressed kisses under her eyes. She chuckled. She hugged him as she sighed. She simply wanted to be close to him at this time, and savor the feeling of being loved by him.

In the afternoon, they went out to go on a date. They saw Todd and Kyle, and upon seeing them together while holding hands, they teased Renzo endlessly.

“Hey, man… I knew it. You have the hots for Ciara. I shouldn’t have asked.” Todd stated as he grinned at the two of them. Ciara frowned at him, while trying to smile, looking up at Renzo and allowing him to deal with his friend.

“Well, I’m glad you finally saw some sense. I can tell you’re beyond happy.” Kyle spoke after they convinced Todd to hit on some other girl, and off he went.

“Thanks, man.” Renzo tapped him on the shoulder as he left. Kyle gave them thumbs up, which Ciara took to mean he approved of their relationship.
