Chapter 19 - Problems

Although the woman wasn’t clinging on Renzo and they actually kept a certain distance from each other, Ciara still felt jealous. She hadn’t felt this way even with women who clung to Renzo before, but maybe it’s because she felt she has the right to as his girlfriend, so she’s feeling this way now.

She called him to ask if he’ll be home early but he said he’s still got a job to do. It won’t be long, though, he promised. She was watching them as they walked. The woman was refreshingly beautiful. Maybe that’s why she’s jealous. They were talking and they were both smiling. She couldn’t hear what they were talking about, though.

She sighed. Not a good idea to torture yourself. Better go home quickly and prepare something delicious for dinner. If Renzo’s got a job, he’ll be hungry when he gets back.
