Kierra's POV

"So my uncle never gave up the search for her?" I asked.

"No, he didn't. He said his wife wasn't the carefree and happy woman he used to know. So he promised to look for Lisa no matter how long it took. He never found her corpse so he said he had no reason to pronounce his own daughter dead."

"I could remember my aunt always looking depressed. She loved me, I know. But she was not a happy woman. This was the reason why. She lost a child."

"Now you've heard about your origin and you now also know about the sad passing of your parents and the role your uncle played in your life and what they lost too"

I stood up and began pacing. This was just so much to take in. I knew I was unique but I didn't know my existence could be a trouble to my kind.

"What do I do now Mr Kendrick?"

"Kierra, I can't watch you hurt yourself. I was there when it all happened. I am doing this because your uncle wouldn't have wanted the enemy to find you."
