Chapter Twenty-Five

Aden's POV

"That looks better now," I told myself when the guy at the salon finished with my fake mustache.

What was I thinking? All I needed was a mirror and a little patience to get my mustache to look good, not place it upside down.

But looking at it now, I think I needed the help of a professional to make it look real and this good.

I looked much older with a mustache on. It did a better job at making me look entirely different compared to the face mask and cap —not considered a disguise, seriously.

The salon guy was curious as to why I needed a fake mustache. He was concerned that I didn't need it because I looked much better without it.

I told him I was working undercover so I needed it. He was finding my cooked-up story interesting and told me that whenever I needed to dispose of the mustache, he would be happy to do it for me.

"Thanks, friend, I wouldn't hesitate to come to look for you when I need a change," I said to him as I appreciated his good work.
