Lost Puppy

It has been a month.

A month of working as a dancer, a month of seeing Mich on and off. They agreed on nothing serious.

Neither of them wants that commitment right now, so just fun. It works, she went to an event with Toby, and a few people there were interested, yet she hasn’t heard anything since, so maybe she isn’t what they are looking for.

Tonight, she dances at a different club. Louise had offered a few of her dancers after a local club needed someone to fill in the gaps.

She is happy to dance. She still gets paid. Walking out, she drives there. Grabbing her bag, she makes the short journey into the building. She is greeted by a woman, then she is shown to a room to get changed.

“Okay, so you’re aware and okay with the procedure here, right?”

She is, and while it is different, she knows it is safe. “Yes, dancing in private rooms, security on the outside. Scream if I need help.” She grins at her
