CHAPTER 34

LYDIA POV

I woke up, tossing and turning on my bed. It felt softer than usual, more comfortable, larger.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I saw that I was not on my bed. I wasn't even in my room. It was Kiran's. I sat up hastily, wore my shoes and I was ready to run out of there when the door opened.

Kiran stepped inside with a plate of food. He looked up at me and smiled.

"You're awake." He said looking down at my shoes.

"And you were about to leave, weren't you?" He said, his smile still on his face.

"I shouldn't have slept here. I'm sorry if I bothered you. I should get going." I said but he held my head, stroking my palm.

"First, you didn't bother me. I enjoyed your company last night. Even though it wasn't at the best circumstances." He said and gave me a sad smile. Did I say anything in my sleep? I was praying I didn't have any nightmares and ended up saying something I shouldn't.

"Secondly." He said pulling me from my thoughts.

"I brought this food for you. At least eat it
