How Dare You!

Violet POV

When I woke up in the morning, I was covered in sweat, feeling something heavy on me. Alpha Dane had pulled me over his chest and wrapped my waist with one arm, while one arm rested on the side. He had placed his thigh on my leg as if to make sure that I didn’t run away. Throat dry, I swallowed my saliva and raised myself from his chest slowly.

Carefully, I removed his arm and his leg from me and slipped out of bed. As I made my way to the door, I collected his shirt and wore it on my way out because he shredded my clothes last night. There was a dull ache between my legs which reminded me of his threat that I wouldn’t be able to walk properly the next day. I clenched my jaw because every step I took reminded me of how he plowed me. He was unstoppable. And he always wanted more.

“Gods above!” Mimzy rasped. She seemed pretty irritated. “Where were you? You look like a bulldozer ran over you.”

“I am so sorry, Mimzy,” I said, trying to smooth my messed hair by raking my fi
