Violet POV

With Dane guarding me 24x7, I really didn’t know how to sneak out. Should I run away again? But that would be so horrible for my son. I let out an exasperated sigh and went off to sleep. Sharp green eyes and images of a black wolf haunted my dreams.

“Mommy!” I woke up to Dave sitting on me. “Make sure you come to my school today.”

“Dave,” I smiled and got up to wrap my little one in my arms. He was taking part in a musical play in the school. “I will, darling,” I said, kissing his head.

“Please inform my teacher that I refuse to perform that foolish role on stage.”

I rolled my eyes. Dave was so much like Dane. While children were happy in playing in that play, he found it stupid. He’d rather take part in sports and maybe play soccer with older kids. I couldn’t blame him. Those were his Alpha genes. I bopped his nose. “You are going to participate in that play, okay?” The pup needed some normalcy.
