Aurelian speeds towards me, standing in front of me as he draws his sword. The queen was sitting calmly.

“How dare you deceive us?” He asked slowly. Aurelian is much older than the queen and more powerful than her; they could match a bit in using their powers, but the queen won’t surrender just easily, and if we are in their territory, we would be at the losing end. I pat Aurelian back calmly.

“Bring down your sword, Aurelian,” I said into the mate’s mind link.

“No! She tried to harm you!” he growled. It was mostly his wolf talking.

“Aurora calm his wolf while I calm him down,” I said, and I felt her moving around.
