49. Silver

"I will fucking kill you!" Kendrick growled at Jackson as he kneeled down in front of a badly injured Faith. He took her in his arms while hugging her tightly. His expensive white shirt was getting bloodied by her.

She was having a really hard time keeping her eyes opened, yet she was trying her best to do that because of two reasons. First, she couldn't believe that Kendrick came to save her. Second, she was happy that she wouldn't be dying or be going with Jackson. She knew Kendrick won't let that happen in a million years.

She didn't know from where this much trust was coming from but she just knew!

"Don't interfere here, Kendrick. It's none of your business!" Jackson growled at Kendrick after getting up from the ground.

He tried to take a step toward them but Kendrick's one glare was enough to stop him in his tracks. That's the power he held. Even Jackson's warriors weren't brave enough to stay ten feet near him. And the witch? It ran away already.
