Chapter 2

*****Elvira's POV*****

"Archie!" I yelled in shock and Archie just paused from his act, he lazily glanced at me.

He didn't look sorry or anything remorseful as his eyes landed on mine.

Those eyes I had fallen in love with the very first day I met him and found out we were mates.

Those eyes that looked lovingly at me each time we looked at each other Two years ago.

Those eyes were glaring daggers at me.

"Couldn't you knock?" His cold reply came.

He pulled away from the woman and sat up straight, "I won't appreciate you barging in on me that way"

I laughed in surprise.

"Archie, it's me, Elvira" I said, pointing at my chest. "Your Luna"

Archie snorted, "Yeah, right. We should bow to you, right? Just cause you're theLuna?" He asked me sarcasm evident in his tone.

I shook my head in denial, running a hand through my hair.

Was this Archie?

"Archie, you're with another woman on our bed!" I yelled again, trying to speak some sense into his brains, and he just winced.

"If you scream one more time, then I won't mind choking with this pillow. Besides, you should be happy, because this woman over here had just achieved what you couldn't"

Archie’s words felt like a punch to my gut. How could he say this to me with a straight face?

"El, I suggest you leave," Dahlia, who had been quiet suddenly sounded from my mind and I growled.

"You keep your mouth shut. Now you decided to speak right?" I asked her in disbelief.

"I was silent for a reason," she remarked.

"Now that reason should continue to keep you silent" I let out, annoyed.

My gaze turned back to Archie and the woman who had a smirk on her face.

I clenched my fist, also clenching the paper in my hand as I glared at the both.

"Elvira, calm down. Don't do anything stupid" Dahlia warned, but I was far from listening.

I marched forward, anger filling me as I pushed past Archie and latched at the woman on the bed.

"You bitch! Trying to steal my husband from me!" I yelled like crazy and pulled the woman off our bed.

How dare Archie and this bitch?!

The woman didn't even scream as I expected, but instead, she directly pushed me off her.

Having been sick because of the pregnancy lately, I had been extremely weak and always got tired easily.

So I was easily overpowered by her.

She scratched and threw me to the other side of the room.

"Elvira be careful! Let me take over and help you!" Dahlia screamed nonstop in my head and I wanted to comply, but the injections I had received had made me extremely weak to shift into my wolf form.

My eyes caught sight of Archie, he was leaning on the wall, a glass of whatever it was in his hand as he watched us fight.

More like watching me get beaten.

I wanted to scream and tell him that I was carrying a child, our child, but the pains that assaulted me were blinding.

I couldn't form words to say to him as the woman hit me mercilessly.

"That's enough, darling. Let her go. This should serve as a warning to her" Archie said and pulled the crazy woman off me.

She was stark naked and not even ashamed of it.

I glared at them both as I felt my head spin.

"El, are you alright?" Dahlia asked me and I laughed.

"What could happen to me?" I asked her in return and that was when she said, "it's because you're bleeding"

At those words, I froze.

I was bleeding? How was that possible?

I weakly sat up and stared at my legs that had my blood flowing down nonstop on it.

I shivered at the thought that got into my head.

"No! No!" I yelled out, body shivering like a leaf.

I looked up at Archie, hoping for help or anything, but he was smooching with that woman.

Tears slipped from my eyes as an intense pain hit me.

"Archie, Archie help me" I called out, the pain twisting my guts and making me squirm.

Pregnancy hurts like bitch!

Archie just glanced at me, then snorted and pulled that woman towards our bathroom.

"Next time, don't ever attack her" he warned me and threw a disgusted look at me.

The moment the bathroom door closed, a scream left my lips as I curled up on the floor, pain assaulting my entire being.

"Make it stop, Dahlia! Make it stop!" I begged as I whimpered on the cold floor, bathed in my own blood.

Dahlia’s panicking voice spoke to me, "I wish I could! But this is pregnancy and I can't interfere or you might lose the baby!" She said and I cried even more.

Lose my baby?

One I had suffered insults for years for?

Hell no!

But the pain was blinding and so uncomfortable for me.

I felt my legs become jelly and for once, I wished I could just let Dahlia take control on her own.

I couldn't bear the pain anymore.

I began to pull myself towards the door when I heard a few laughter.

The voices sounded like Jaxon's and the Luna's.

I pulled myself even more, maybe if I came into view, they would help me.

"Help! Help me!" I screamed and continued pulling myself to the door.

"Yes El, yes. Pull yourself out, someone will help you!" Dahlia cheered and I gathered confidence to reach the door.

My blood had already stained this entire place this time and I felt my throat constrict.

Dizziness hit me, but I still pulled myself till I reached the door.

I pulled at the handle, but it couldn't be opened.

The dizziness got worse and slowly, I felt my vision begin to darken.

"No! El stay strong. Someone's coming!" Dahlia kept saying to me.

I fought back the dizziness when I heard the sound of the door opening.

Yes! Someone had finally come for me.

But that was the last thought I could muster before my vision went black.

The only sound that followed was the voice of someone calling out to me.

A voice I couldn't make out.
