123. "In Love with Someone Else"

Asmund’s POV

Seated at the dining table, my gaze fixated on Olive, who sat directly across from me. A surge of joy washed over me as I beheld her safe and sound despite her inability to recollect our shared experiences. Although she had lost her memories, I thought, ‘Well, we could just create new ones together.

“Olive,” I beckoned.

Pausing mid-bite, Olive turned her attention towards me.

“How has your time here been?” I inquired. “Have any fragments of your memories resurfaced?”

She lowered her head and responded, “No. Nothing came back. I still can’t remember anything.”

Upon hearing her answer, I couldn’t help but heave a sigh. I had expected that being in my brother’s castle would trigger at least a slight memory for her. However, it seemed that she couldn’t recall anything at all.

Despite this disappointment, I felt relieved that Olive seemed to have calmed down. Initially, she had been in a state of panic and had even expressed a desire to escape from this place. But now,
