The twins returned to the palace, Kalife was supposed to go home while they handled things from there, but before Kalife left she gave the secret book to Liam to give the Alpha.

Now Emily was sitting on the bed, Lucien lying on her lap and sleeping. He didn't say anything about the boys, she did not ask too, because she knew he would say it when the time was right.

She helped Lucien position himself on the bed, so he could sleep very well without straining his neck. She lay awake beside him on the bed, not because she was thinking about anything. She was holding the book the boys gave to their father when they came back and was wondering what was in it that made it so secretive.

She flipped open the first page, there was an inscription “WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PALACE’’. Emily's attention was drawn Immediately. She started flipping through the rest of the pages and more words began to surface.

She raced back to the first page and began to read it again, out loud but quietly.
