Chapter Fifty Aliyah’s POV

I could tell from the way the vehicle bounced up and down that we were on a bumpy path. The journey had been a long one since I woke up with my legs tied and eyes closed with an duffel bag and I had tried not to shut my eyes again. My hands and feet hurt from the grip the binding ropes had on them, but more especially, my eyes needed to see sunlight. If I wasn’t mistaken, it’s been over an hour forty-five minutes since I woke, and it wasn’t ending soon from the accelerating speed my abductors were using.

I tried to recall the events that had happened, but I was only stuck with those I remembered before I was grabbed from behind at the mansion. I had returned from getting the drugs Jason and Carey had sent me for his mom, and found no one at home.
