Chapter Eleven

Camille looked up at Chad and blinked confusedly.

"I don't understand," Camille confessed.

"I'm worried about her. I was at her place yesterday and she seemed distant", Chad told Camille.

"Oh", was all Camille said as she went back to sipping her drink.

"Do you know if anything bothered her?", Chad asked Camille.

"Did something happen?", he asked and Camille nearly choked on her drink.

"Cough... Cough", she sputtered.

"Careful, are you alright?", Chad asked her.

"Yeah, yes, I'm fine", Camille said and waved her hand at him, gesturing to him not to worry.

Chad called a waiter over and asked for a napkin. The waiter soon came back with the napkin and Camille took it from Chad, gesturing that she could do it by herself. Camille cleaned up the drops of drink she had sputtered on the table and had the waiter return the napkin.
