Chapter Seven

Lola sighed again for the nth time.

"Is everything alright?", her boyfriend Chad asked her, looking at her with concern written all over his face.

"Yeah, yeah everything is fine", Lola answered.

"Are you sure? Because you have been sighing non stop since we got here", Chad pointed out.

"No, it's nothing. It's just the stress from work, you know", Lola told him.

"Why? Is your boss giving you trouble?", Chad asked her.

"No, no. Adr... Mr. Alvarez", Lola corrected herself.

"Mr. Alvarez is good", Lola assured him.

"Well if you insist. But I always said you work too hard. Relax from time to time, maybe even take a leave from work one of these days, we could do something together", Chad suggested.

"No, I don't think that is going to work. Mr. Alvarez needs me to coordinate most of his schedule, what would he do if I take a leave from work? Who would coordinate his schedule?'' Lola asked out of habit.

"So? I'm sure he will be able to manage just fine on his own for a few days", Chad answered.
