I shifted my gaze to Lucian and he looked at me with pure rage. I knew that the anger was not directed at me, but for the bastard who had done something awful to this girl. No-one deserved this sort of pain, and we had to get the persons involved.

Taking a deep breath, I looked back at the girl. "Look, we found you unconscious at the forest. And, we need to know what happened to you. It’s important," I whispered.

"Nothing happened. I want to go home," she said as she tried to sit-up, but I calmly pulled her back down. She was seriously loosing it at this moment, and it was not right. There had to be a way to calm her down, and I hardly knew how to.
