Kieran drove on the tarred road for a while before he turned to some forest path, and that was when I began losing consciousness. I tried pretty hard to keep my eyes open, but it was all in vain. I could hear when the car came to a halt and he opened his door, closed it back, and came around to my side. He opened the door and lifted me gently in his arms. MACE POVIt has been hell since Tilda left. I was but a shadow of my old self, looking for new ways to satiate my hunger. I buried myself neck deep in work, forgetting what it feels like to be with a woman. I find other ladies throwing themselves at me repulsive. I had been on a hunt for the past two weeks. Trying to avoid the thought of Tilda creeping in, I swore to find the bastard that cost me my joy. I was to castrate him and make an example of him for all cartels to learn.But each time I find myself alone, I keep struggling and trying everything possible to fight the urge to go bring her back. I remind myself over and over again that what happened was for her own safety."She is safer without me." This has been my national anthem since I let her go. I was scared when the door gave way with a loud bang. The girls can be mischievous sometimes. I locked the door behind me, and they kept knocking on my door. The knocking died down after a while, and I was on the bed trying to recollect the events of the day."I killed someone, I thought to myself.
