another step forward

Fear passed through her like a cold ghost and she shivered, I saw it. She dropped her hands and shoved the knife back into her pants.

“You'll pay." Was all she said before storming out of the building.

I watched her leave and I started trying to get my slender wrist off the ropes, it ended up cutting my skin and blood escaped the wounds. I gave up and cried.
