It seems like it’s as only yesterday that I learned that her mother was my mate who had two beautiful daughters I would end up calling my own. Maliyah has a bright future ahead of her and I know she will accomplish anything she sets her mind to. And lastly, a reminder I will bury anyone who hurts her.”

The last part of dad’s speech gets a chuckle out of everyone and a few yelling in agreement since they have daughters as well. Just when I thought it was over, mom commands everyone’s attention.
