MARINA
I called myself another Uber and headed home. My head was spinning from everything that happened. Maybe I should just go to sleep, and everything will be OK in the morning.
But it was just wishful thinking. Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me inside as soon as I stepped in front of my room.
"Logan, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked after I took a good look at who it was. I suddenly felt fear when I remembered what had happened to Dawn. Did Logan really hit her on the head? Did he kill those guys?
"I just wanted to see you," Logan said. He had me pushed against the wall. He tried to kiss me, but I pushed him off.
"Let go of me," I said. Logan must have seen the fear in my eyes because he let go of me immediately and looked at me with surprise.
