“Where are we?” I quipped, averting my head in his direction.

“Marriage registration office. It closes soon, let's hurry.” Zachary took off the seatbelt, trying to get out of the car in a hurry.

I remember agreeing to marriage but not to elope. The whole point of marriage was to prove to my father I could be married and be an heir. If I have to elope there is no point.
