As I walked out of the restaurant fresh air filling my lungs and revitalising me, my phone rang up.

A sour taste lingered in my mouth as I saw my father's ID flashing on the screen. Zachary's words flashed through my mind. None of his words were lies. It was the truth. I am not heir to my father and never will be. I swallowed the feeling as I picked up the call.

“If you are wondering how the date went? Then no. I am not marrying him.” I spoke even before he could speak.

“I knew it. You are as useless as your mother. You can't even do one thing I ask of you? You want to be CEO, right? Go be a CEO, you are not allowed to work in my company or come back home. I would rather not have a daughter than have you. Don't return home until you marry him.” Even before I could answer he cut the call.
