Chapter 126

Bryant's pov

As the sun rays penetrated into my room I asked myself the same question that I did every single day when my senses came to myself and I realised that every luxury I enjoyed was not free; Did I really have to go to work today?

At first, the answer would always be no, but then after a couple of seconds of contemplation I would realize that there were far more unpleasant things that I could do that today than going to work so I would end up dragging my body off of the bed and beginning my morning rituals before I made my way to the office.

I sat in the back of my car bringing down the windscreen and telling my chauffeur to bring up the music in the vehicle so that I could drown myself in it, then I looked out to the open straight watching the images in front of me blur past almost as if it was just an illusion being cursed in front of my eyes and not reality that I could reach out and touch.

Then out of nowhere, I saw her.
