I woke up to the chirping of the birds and my eyes opened slowly.

As my consciousness gradually awakened, the events of the previous night flooded back into my mind, replaying vividly like a movie scene.

Abruptly, I looked around and found myself sleeping while cuddling her closely to my chest.

The sight of her peaceful face, illuminated by the soft morning light that filtered through the curtains, brought a mix of comfort but when my eyes moved down her body, which was half-covered with a duvet, I could feel anger rushing through my veins.
