Chapter 29 - Inviting Lucas For Dinner

Anastasia's POV

I drove my black sedan car to the hotel as quickly as I could, I hoped nothing had happened to Kendrick. It was my job to keep him safe and here I was, in a state of panic because I neglected my duty of staying close to him when I should always be at his disposal.

Getting down from the car, I hurried into the hotel and once I got down from the elevator, I went to his suite. My heart beat faster and faster as I approached.

“ Kendrick!” I screamed for him as I swung the door open. Walking into the room, I scanned the suite for him but he wasn't here but he was the one who called me.

“ Harry?” I heard a faint voice, similar to that of Kendrick. I had nearly forgotten that I was bearing the name Harry for the time being. Kendrick held on to the leg of a stool close to him in an attempt to get to his feet. His suger level had dropped, that I was sure of.
