Chapter fifty one

A kiss is placed on my right shoulder sweetly as we maintain silence. His lips feel warm against my skin and I lean into him more to feel the warmth of his body, against the semi hot water we are seated in, in the black bathtub. It's only now that i cherish these moments with him and it's only now that I feel all the scars his body has. Especially on his arms.

It's also only now that i realize how limited our time is together. For after tomorrow, he's leaving for Russia and I don't know when I'm going to see him again. This is how quickly life changes when you get closer to someone you supposedly wanted to hate forever. As it is said, ' there's a thin line between love and hate.' What I didn't realize is how thin.

"How long we'll you be gone for?" I voice out my concern hoping he'd answer me truthfully.

"I don't know," he answers, leaning back into the bathtub and away from me but not fully. The water around me splashes as I turn around to face him.
