16. Desired

Lucifer sipped his wine once more, he only responded with a murmur to his sister's request.

It wasn't something hard for him to do at all. With his subordinates and connections he had, he could have granted Angeline's request before sunrise, but he decided to find out his sister's motive first. "Why the maid? Is she trying to seduce your husband or something?"

Angeline was a jealous person, and he wouldn't be surprised if she took such a risk, but Lucifer suspected there was more to the problem.

"Does it appear that trivial to your eyes?" She sounded irritated by his question. "I mean, the problem is more serious. But she did try to seduce my husband a few times."

Lucifer nodded. It was quite brave of the maid to do so.

"I'll tell you who she is if you agree but not here, I'll meet you after the party. Tell me if you agree?"
