Chapter 22

Calix’s POV

Tuesday…

It’s the day that we’re going to France. It’s already seven thirty in the morning and our flight will be ten in the morning. We will be heading to the airport at eight and I am so excited to see my long lost son and daughter.

I was hoping that they would accept me as their father. And not a stranger. As I watched Blaire, she looks so excited and thrilled too. While we are heading in the airport, I could see the excitement in her eyes which made me secretly smiled.

I bit my lower lip and then shook my head as my attention went outside the window. The nature is really a blessing and that New York is fully developed. It’s a beautiful scenery although it was peaceful and quiet.

“Dad, I’m excited to see my brother and sister,” suddenly, Caleb speak up beside me.

I glance at him. I nodded my head and then ruffled his hair. “That’s good to hear, Caleb. You should be thrilled to meet them,” I blurted, smiling at him.
