Chapter 8

CARTER POV

When she said she wanted a divorce, I felt strange about it, but I like the fact that she was the one that had said it.

Honestly, since my father's death, I should have made that decision, but I really don't know why I still remain in the marriage with her, when I knew that I don't really love her for a bit.

I sighed softly and slowly continued my bath.

When I entered the room I saw it was completely empty, and I just took a deep breath,as I went to get dressed.

I went out of the room and headed straight to the dining room. I met just the cook there who quickly dished out my food for me.

Just as I was about to eat, my phone rang. And I immediately took it up. I checked the caller's ID and saw it was one of my guards.

I quickly pressed the answer button and placed it in my ears.

"Sir, I'm sorry to disturb you, but some people attacked the warehouse and took away some goods from there." He spoke up immediately, and I frowned.

"I will be there in a minute
