North cast a glance at the crying Melinda and narrowed her eyes.

Pretending to be an innocent woman, huh? Well, she knew how to do that too!

Suddenly, she teared up. “But I’ve never received any of my mother’s possessions. Why did you give all of them away? I don’t even have a proper accessory to wear to the auction, while Melinda can donate a necklace worth sixty million dollars whenever she wants.”

The people sucked in sharp breaths and finally realized what was wrong with the situation.

North was right. Melinda enjoyed a pampered life using the wife’s possessions, while North had nothing! That made no sense!
