Angry Catherine

Morning came at last. It was sunny and a little noisy as the birds of the sky welcomed the new day with beautiful songs.

Catherine walked out of David's house with a frown on her face. She was wearing the same cloth she had come here with yesterday and her bag was tightly held under her hands.

David also opened the door after her and stepped out with a hot coffee mug brewing in his hands. If he was happier than Catherine, then that would mean he was a hell of a real actor to not let it show.

Catherine started walking to the gate with the frown staying consistent on her face but David suddenly stopped her.

“Where do you think you're going?“

She stopped immediately and abruptly turned with a look of anger in her eyes. “What sort of question is that, David? Where does it look like I'm going?“

David stared at her for a moment with his poker expression and looked at the watch on his wrist. He then walked to the outdoor hut house wearing a white bathrobe.
