You're going nowhere

Nora's POV

I woke up to a slight pain in my head. My hands moved on the bed with closed eyes to find my phone. But the texture of the bed sheets made me realise too soon that it wasn't the one on my bed.

I carefully opened my eyes, and for a second thought I was dreaming. I was on top of a king size bed in a room as large as our whole house. There were thick and expensive-looking curtains covering the windows, a castle chandelier, some chairs and some other things. The room smelt of wealth, and for a second I wished it was my house in heaven.

Getting off the bed and sitting at the edge; I closed my eyes for a while and remembered everything that happened in an instant.

“I must have passed out… again,” I said to myself, standing up.

Once again, I knew the right thing to do was going to the room's door and bursting it out before Alvin came to stop me from going—but I was tired of that. What am I going to do at home, anyways? Go and cry at my misfortune? Or mourn the fact that I h
