Olivia POV

Right now, I was beyond pissed, all thanks to Lucien.

Even though I ran after him, it was not about him, it was about how he countered my words back there making them look invalid.

I hate stuff like this. Not only does it make me feel vulnerable, it makes my self esteem low.

"Olivia." Lucien called for the upthement time but I chose to ignore him all the same. I had my hands wrapped across my chest just like he was doing a while ago with my back against the wall.

"I'm talking to you. Why are you ignoring me?" He asked, grabbing my hands which I wriggled out almost immediately.

I could see the shock that had clouded his face but I don't give a damn about it.

This wasn't about him, it was about my ego he messed with back there at the reception room.

Fortunately, this was also an opportunity to ignore him just like he did to me back there making me feel stupid.
