Alexa's POV

“Swordsmanship isn't all about just swinging your sword around, there are skills and….,”

I yawn cutting Ace off.

“There are skills and techniques for…,”

I yawn again.

“You have to know your…,”

I yawn for the third time. “Did you wake me up this early just to lure me back to sleep,” I ask, giving him a disapproving stare?

“You have to know the basics first,” he insists.

“If I want to know that, I can look it up in the library,” I insist.

“Fine,” he grumbles.

“Now, let's get to the exciting part,” I said, staring at the sword in his hand.

“This?” he asks, pointing to his sword. I nod my head vigorously.

“Not so fast, first you will have to unsheathe it,” he says, smirking at me.

“Why are you making it sound as if it's hard? Give it here,” I say, stretching my hand for him to hand it over. But he tossed it over to me, and it landed on my feet.

“What are you staring at? Pick it up,” he orders.

I sighed and bent down to pick the sword up. “Why didn't you just hand…,”
