Chapter 59

ALEXIS' POV

As I pack my bagpack to leave for home, my eyes meets Aurora's locker and my heart breaks again at the thought of her. I cannot believe she would miss school of all days like this. Somehow, I feared something might be wrong with her. What if she's got a cold or running a fever. I should probably stop judging her and plan to visit her at her parents house as soon as I am off work.

My fingers pause to the door of my own locker as a lean feminine frame walks behind me and stops at the locker I had just finished staring at. She opens it and ignores my presence while I just stand there and watch, my heart breaking to a million pieces.

My fucking best friend has been around in school all these while and still has the nerves to show up in my face, a total snob. I am going to rip this bitch's head off.
