Chapter 67

Cassie's POV

I saw the fear in her eyes and smiled to myself. I had missed that look in her eye. All this truce and treaty was boring me out.

"Cassie what did you do?"

She grabbed me but I pushed her away violently.

"Stay away from me, you slut! Next time, keep your whore-like hands to yourself."

I watched in pleasure as she became frantic and began to find the beads that were scattered all over the hospital floor. I laughed at her as I watched her helplessness.

Jasper gabbed my arm roughly and made me look at him.

"What was that for?" he said angrily.

His grip on my arm tightened and my skin began to redden.

"Let go of me! Are you supporting her now?"

I heard him snarl in anger and he let go of my hand forcefully.

"Do you have any idea what you have just done? Why do you always have to be so brash and a bully all the time? Aren't you past that by now?"

I ignored him and continued to look at Hazel as she searched frantically for the beads of her little bracelet

"Oh no. Where are they?
