Chapter 66

Hazel's POV

I hugged Logan and looked at him nervously. He was terribly hurt. As I pulled away from him, I could smell the alcohol on his breath. He had been drinking again. It was exactly what the lady on the phone had said.

"Logan are you alright?"

I looked him over again. There were tubes on his wrist and I saw the oxygen mask beside him.

"I am fine."

I watched him as he glared angrily at Jasper who simply stared back at him. I could feel the tension brewing.

"I asked Jasper to drive me here. I got a phone call and a lady told me that you had an accident and I rushed over here as fast as possible."

I watched as his eyes left mine and went to Jasper. The silence was dense and soon he gave Jasper a little nod. Jasper nodded back and I was stunned. Did the accident smack something inside his brain?

I looked at his fingers and there was a card in between them.

"What is that?"

He turned his head to his fingers and handed me the card.
