Chapter 65

Logan's POV

I found myself floating in an inky blackness. It was void and empty. Finally my eyes fluttered open. Where was I? I turned around and saw the faint blue of the walls. I tried to touch my face but felt a plastic, with a tube attached to it, covering over my mouth and nose. What was going on?

I raised my arm and saw tubes connected to a drip stand and I could hear the sound of machines beeping. I turned my head to look at the machine and saw pulsating lines and beeping numbers. A heart rate monitor?

The door soon flung open and a lady in a white dress came in. She had a dazzling smile and her hair was tied neatly in a tight bun at the back of her head.

"Mr. Logan, thank the Goddess you are awake."

My voice was weak and barely audible.

"Where am I?"

"You are in the hospital. You had a nasty accident but you will be fine now. Just relax and try to rest."

The nurse smiled and made some adjustments to the tubes on my arm. She stared at the heart rate monitor and took some reading
