Brielle's POV

It was the middle of the night. I had been dragged to a small, stuffy, and smelly room. I peeped through the little window that brought little to no ventilation. I could see the dilapidated restroom there. Why did I have to live in the room close to it?

Probably where I was put now was meant to be a restroom, but it collapsed.

I contemplated leaving here to find some better place to lay my head, even if I would have to sleep on the field. It was much more convenient than sleeping in this tight room.

And then I remembered the last word Killian said to me, about revealing my unfaithfulness to him and the pack in general. His threat seemed valid as he had promised to announce it to the pack by dawn. He didn't want to see me; I had assumed that he would get angry each time he set his eyes on me.

He had placed me in this room, far away from his and tight with security outside so I wouldn't come near his room to plead with him not to reveal the secret.
