Hades' POV

It was almost noon, yet I was still in my room. Today wasn't a bright one for me. After murdering the dude, I'd been moody though that wasn't the specific cause of the moodiness.

Brielle's absence gave me a headache every time as different ideas of getting her back flooded into my memory but I didn't know how to tackle them. I contemplated discussing it with my Beta but he might leak the secrets, wouldn't he?

My son was right beside me in bed, his eyes shut, his palms still placed on his eyes so I wouldn't get mad and remove them as I had threatened.

"Hey boy, come on," I said and nudged him but he didn't respond. As I scrutinized his face, I realized that he had slept off. I sighed deeply and turned to the other direction of the room, trying to pen down my ideas of getting Brielle back.
